LANDSCAPE (WYOMING, RANDSTAD, RILA)
2011, installation: 3 wooden panels, wyoming paint, dutch paint and bulgarian paint, 360 x 200 x 150 cm.

Two found maps where the starting point for this work and resulted in a landscape painting through executing different steps. From the place depicted on the maps I found a satellite image which I blurred so much that it became one color. To make this virtual color tangible, I got in contact with someone living in that area through the Internet and asked him to buy for me the specific color of his place and send it to me. I put the paint on standard sized MDF sheets an connected them to create a landscape.
